Loot Rules

Loot is earned in the wake, never bought. Questions go to an officer.

Main 20-player raid: DKP

Fixed prices. No bidding.

DKP price per item
Item DKP
Two-handed weapon or Hunter main ranged weapon 4
One-handed weapon, off-hand, trinket, wand, or relic 2
Armor or jewelry 1
Ultra-rare item +3

Ultra-rare items cost +3 on top of the base price. Items are flagged only after we've seen them drop, and the list is posted before the next raid.

Earning points

  • Present for the night (on time, stay to the end): 1. Late or partial: 0.5. Absent: 0.
  • Officers earn 1.2 present and 0.6 late or partial.
  • +1 for every first-ever guild kill of a boss, officers and members alike.
  • Welcome pack: 1 point after your 2nd full raid night.

Picking the winner

  • Everyone who wants the item for main spec says so. The highest DKP balance wins and pays the listed price.
  • Off spec only gets a turn if nobody wants it for main spec.
  • You can only take an item that costs no more than your balance.
  • Tied at the top (say both at 10)? Those players /roll. If an officer is in the roll, a different officer calls it in raid chat.

The rules

  • The cap is 10 points for everyone, officers included. Points earned above the cap are lost, not banked.
  • One named officer logs attendance each raid night.
  • Points are never tied to gold. GDKP is banned in Forever.
  • Nov 25, 2026: if master loot isn't confirmed by then, whoever receives a drop trades it to the DKP winner right away.
  • Think a loot call was unfair? Take it to Rhavoc directly.

10-player raids, alt runs, and casual groups

Need/greed, main spec first. Only roll Need on a main-spec upgrade.

On alt and casual runs, the leader may switch to these rules by posting them before the first pull:

  • Main spec over off spec.
  • +1 per win. A winner rolls behind anyone at +0 for the rest of the run.
  • No rolling for looks.
  • The leader may hold and assign loot.

Raid seats and standby

Some nights more of us show up than the raid can hold. Showing up still counts.

Who gets a seat

The raid leader fills seats for what the raid needs first (tanks, healers, class balance). If players are otherwise equal, the seat goes to whoever sat on standby most recently.

If the raid is full

The overflow runs a pug group when there are enough players for one.

If the pug is full too, you're on standby

  • Tell the raid leader you're standing by. An officer logs you as Standby.
  • Stay online and ready to join until the raid ends or the raid leader releases you.
  • If a spot opens mid-raid, standby players come in first.
  • Standby earns the same DKP as being present, as long as you stay available to the end or until you're released. The 10-point cap still applies.
  • A standby night counts as a full raid night for the welcome pack.
  • If you sat on standby last raid, you get first call on a seat next raid, as long as the raid can use your role.

Leave early without telling the raid leader and it counts as absent.
